- The Africa Museum of Science and Technology (AMST) conceptualized by Mia Turner.
- Built relationships with like-minded organizations in Nairobi, including Travelling Telescope, Tinker Education, and Little Einsteins.

2015: Forged International Relationships
- Toured CosmoCaixa Museum
and met with founder,
Jorge Wagensburg. - Met with BioBus founder,
Sarah Weisberg.
2016: SITE EXPLORATIONS
- Developed close collaboration with Ngaren; future location on the edge of the Rift Valley.
- Dr. Richard Leakey proposed partnership.
- Met with potential architects.
2017: Established Structure & Pivotal Relationships
- AMST registered in the United States as a nonprofit.
- Developed influential team of Board of Directors and advisors, including Gearbox founder, Dr. Kamau Gachigi, Nobel Laureate Frank Wilczek, and Hon.Yusuf Abdi, MP.
- Formed relationship with astronaut Dr. Mae Jemison.
- AMST team attended U.S. science center conference; built relationships in the field and met Exploratorium staff.
2019: Mobilization Began
- Facilitated first AMST workshop.
- Investor Fund developed to launch initial planning.
- Explored partner collaboration with Joy Mboya, founder of The Go Down Centre.
2020: Deepened Relationships
- Ngaren brought in Naturalis Museum to prepare work plan and financials for Ngaren.
2021: Advanced the Concept
- Dr. Joy Kiano joined AMST as a co-founder.
- Discussions began with the Exploratorium to advance vision.
- Brainstormed with potential partners including Evy van Weezendonk, founder of Anzania, and Caroline Muriika, GM, IBM East Africa.
